Hyderabad: In Turkapally area of Karwan, a gas cylinder got burst killing a person and injuring another one. This accident took place at a scrap godown opposite SBA Garden Function Hall at Turkapally, Kulsumpura, Karwan yesterday.
It may be mentioned that the workers separate iron articles from other articles and store them in the godown every day. When the accident took place, four labourers were working in the godown.
Mr. Ram Mohan, Inspector of Police, Kulsumpura told that at 11:30 a.m. yesterday, this accident took place when the workers were making an attempt to detach copper from the cylinder. The inspector told that the size of the cylinder was very small. It was removed from the refrigerator.
Local residents informed Kulsumpura Police. Police reached the spot immediately and shifted Rama Krishna and three others to the hospital. Police took the samples and registered a case. Investigations are in progress.
