Hyderabad a fast developing city in commercial field: Minister

Hyderabad, December 08: Mr. Ponala Lakshmaiah, Minister of Commerce, Govt. of A.P. said that Hyderabad has become a very fast developing commercial city in the country. Hyderabad provides better infrastructure and other basic amenities required for commercial activity.

He was addressing a symposium organized by A.P. Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Red Hills. He specifically mentioned the growth of I.T. Industry in the City. He told that with 11% production, Hyderabad ranks fourth in I.T. industry in the world.

He further told that Govt. provides facilities and pays special attention to I.T. industry in the state. He appealed to the delegation of Israel to invest in various projects of the State. The ambassador of Israel told that in the areas of pesticides research, Isreal is ready to offer its services.

He disclosed that India and Israel are going to enter into a free trade agreement in 2014 which will enhance the opportunities of commercial transactions. Present on this occasion was the Vice President of FAPCCI Mr. Devender Swaran & other officials of the Federation.
