Hyderabad: A resident of Hyderabad is running a fake online boutique for the past one year. She has looted lakhs of rupees by operating her fake business through the Instagram account by name “ombre couture”.
She offers heavy dresses at cheap prices of Rs. 1000-5000. In the current market where just stitching costs thousands of rupees, people get into the trap because of cheap prices and pay in thousands.
Modus operandi
She promises to deliver dresses in a month. Later, she starts making excuses.
It may be mentioned that she had copied pictures of many dresses from another authentic boutique.
Many persons have become the victim of the fraud whose mastermind is a 23-year-old-girl. No official action has been taken against her so far.
