Hyderabad: Dowry greed claimed the life of a 31-year-old woman. The victim is identified as K.Gautami.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, she got married to K. Madhukar in the month of July 2018. At the time of marriage, woman’s parents gave articles and Gold worth Rs. 18 lakh.
However, after the marriage, the man reportedly demanded another Rs. 2 lakh from his wife’s family. He used to allegedly harass her.
Vexed over it, the woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan.
Kachiguda police registered a case and started investigation.
