Hyderabad developed during Congress rule only: Digvijay Singh

Alleging that no development has taken place in the last 18 months rule of TRS government, AICC general secretary and Telangana State party affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh has said the international airport, outer ring road, metro rail projects came during Congress party rule.

Participating in GHMC election campaign at Manikeshwari Nagar in Tarnaka division and Boudhanagar division here on Thursday, Digvijay alleged that the TRS party was saying falsehood on settlers, power and law and order issues. Questioning the TRS party whether there were no woman MLA in the TRS party to take up minister post, Digvijay said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was thinking that Nizamabad MP K Kavitha is only a woman in the TRS party and she only has the strength to take up the minister post.

Digvijay visited Archbishop Thummabala’s residence and honored him. Later, Digvijay visited Chandrayangutta, Charminar constituencies and addressed several public meetings and road shows. (NSS)
