The Hyderabad City is all set to celebrate Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed(PBUH). Traditional green flags and decorative pieces were put up at every place in and around areas of the Old City and qawwalis were being played especially along the stretches of Gulzar Houz, Yakutpura, Dabeerpura, Edi Bazar, Moghalpura, Aliabad, Falaknuma, Khilwat and Hussaini Alam Road.
Historic Makkah masjid is illuminated for Milad-un-Nabi, which is to be celebrated on Saturday in the city, Several religious meetings have been planned for Friday and Saturday to mark the occasion.
The police is making elaborate arrangements for the procession. About 5,000 policemen from various police units will be deployed in the city
