Hyderabad culture to embrace all will continue to thrive: KCR

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s culture to embrace those who make the city their home will continue to flourish under the Telangana Rashtra Samithi rule, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said today.

Observing that many people from all corners of the country were settled here, he said the city has now gained a place of prominence due to the contribution of all such people.

Rao, who was the chief guest in the meeting ‘Half decade of journey’ of Raju Kshtriyas, said the community members had an important role in the development of Hyderabad, which is the lifeline of Telangana, a release from his office said.

Recalling that TRS had stated at the time of its formation that it would not have any problem with those who came in search of livelihood, the Chief Minister said the party treated all those who settled in Hyderabad like flowers in a bouquet.

Hailing the contribution of Raju Kshatriyas (who came to Hyderabad from Coastal Andhra), the CM said the community members had introduced grape orchards and poultry farms to the city here.

The community members are doing well in Information Technology, cinema and construction sectors, he said, adding that the government would stand by Kshatriyas.
