Hyderabad: Cousin pushes minor into prostitution

Hyderabad: Metro city Hyderabad is slowly turning into a safe haven for criminals with the rising rate of crimes within the city limits under the nose of city police.

A minor girl was abducted and later pushed into prostitution by her cousin was rescued by Rachakonda police on Friday.

The victim’s cousin and his wife lured the minor girl and took her to Jadcherla only to sell her into flesh trade.

The other accused were identified as Faridha Begum (36), Kethvath Krishnaveni (28), Theppollu Swaroopa (34), Pathlavath Padma (25), Dorolla Manjula (36) and Goda Radha (50), all residents of Jadcherla town of Mahbubnagar district.

The victim reportedly went missing since December 9 following which her mother filed a missing complaint.

However, the girl was rescued on Friday at Dilshuknagar.
