Hyderabad court seeks report on allegations against HCA

Hyderabad, April 08: A local court today directed the anti-corruption bureau to investigate the allegations of financial irregularities against former cricketer Shivlal Yadav, the current vice-president of Hyderabad Cricket Association, and 22 others.

An application has been filed in the court by C Babu Rao, secretary of Sagar Cricket Club here, stating Yadav and some other HCA members caused the HCA loss of over Rs 200 crore by “indulging in several irregularities and misappropriation of HCA funds”.

Special ACB Court ordered investigation into the matter and directed ACB Director General to submit a report by May 9.

The complainant has alleged irregularity on Yadav”s part in allotment of work for construction of Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Uppal here in 2004.
