Hyderabad: Course for would-be brides, grooms likely to be introduced

Hyderabad: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind along with All India Muslim Personal Law Board and other organizations is planning to introduce a course for would-be brides and grooms.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, Hafiz Mohammed, JIH City President said that this course will explain the responsibilities of men and women after the marriage.

It may be mentioned that in other countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia, such certification courses exist.

The course will include topics such as Muslim Personal Law, rights of women, responsibilities toward family and society etc.

Meanwhile, Mr. Hameed Mohammed Khan, President of Jamat-e-Islami, Telangana and Odisha said that the root cause of societal problems is decreasing joint family system.

To resolve these issues, Jamat-e-Islami is organizing 10 day ‘Ideal family’ campaign to enlighten people and to resolve marital disputes through counseling.
