Hyderabad: Cops swing lathis to control commuters at trains

Police resorted to lathi-charge to control commuters when they tried to enter the trains skipping the queues leading to jostling at Secunderabad Railway Station. In the melee, one Pallavi from Srikakulam received grievous injuries in the jostling and the railway authorities provided first aid to her in the railway station.

The Sankranthi rush reached to its peak on Friday. The crowd tried to enter into the Falaknuma Express leading to jostling though the police made the commuters to stand in queues. (NSS)
