Hyderabad: People are exposing the irregularities of police on social media which shows that the awareness of the people has increased.
Last month, a post on Twitter highlighted the involvement of a police constable and a home guard in allegedly accepting bribe. After this post went viral, Commissioner of Police suspended them.
A few days later, the video in which a police constable Suresh and home guard Chaitanya of Madhura Nagar Police Station, SR Nagar area buying wine from a shop and transporting it into a patrolling van was shown went viral. Commissioner of Police, Mr. Anjani Kumar issued a showcase notice to the concerned inspector and sought an explanation.
He got irritated on the exposure of these two incidents and took stern action against the erring police officials. He warned them not to indulge in any such activity in the future.
These two incidents show that people have become conscious and they are exposing the irregularities of Govt. officials. Taking serious note of these two incidents, police officials have been instructed not to indulge in any unlawful activity which tarnishes the image of the police in the public.
