Hyderabad: Car overturns near airport, 9-year-old boy Azam Alauddin dies

Hyderabad: A car carrying eight persons going back home after bidding farewell to their relative who was going to Dubai, met with an accident near Novotel Hotel at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamsabad yesterday. In the accident, the 9-year-old boy, Azam Alauddin was killed and seven other passengers including car driver, Abdul Hakeem were severely injured. The injured persons were shifted to nearby hospital where Azam Allaudin was declared brought dead.

According to the report published in DC, Shiva Kumar, sub-inspector of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Police Station said that the reason for the accident could be excessive speed. However, he added that the driver was not drunk.

It is also reported that the car hit the road divider and crashed into a pond at the roadside after losing the control.
