Hyderabad: Brave youth saves girl from drowning in Husain Sagar

Hyderabad: A 29-year-old youth saved a girl from drowning in Husain Sagar. After this incident, many appreciated his bravery and humanity.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, the youth is identified as K. Vishnukanth Reddy, a software engineer. He is a resident of Malakpet area, Hyderabad.

As per the details of the incident, he had visited the East Street food joint on Necklace Road at around 10 a.m. on Sunday. After a few minutes, when the girl jumped into the lake, people started screaming.

Talking about the incident, Mr. Reddy said that although there were more than 35 people present at the spot, no one tried to rescue the girl. Mr. Reddy also said that he was also in confusion state. However, finally, he decided to rescue the girl and jumped into the lake.

It is also reported that when the girl was brought to the eatery, she was unconscious. Later, she came into conscious.
Shockingly, the girl shouted at Mr. Reddy for saving her. Soon, Lake Police Personnel reached the spot.

After completion of counseling at the police station, the girl was handover to her family.

According to the details furnished by the police, the girl had tried to commit suicide due to depression.
