Hyderabad: A newlywed bride committed suicide due to harassment of husband and in-laws. As she was beautiful, her husband used to ask her to disclose the number of beaux she had before the marriage.
The woman, Sushmita (19) who repeatedly denied having beaux objected her husband, Vijayender for putting such questions.
Her husband and in-laws were also harassing her for getting more dowry.
Vexed with this, the five-month-old bride committed suicide by hanging herself in her house.
According to the report of Medchal Police, the parents of the girl had given 6 tolas of gold, Rs. 3 lakh in cash, a plot of 150 sq. yards and other domestic articles.
Police registered a case and started investigation.
