Hyderabad: Jilmore, a city-based artists booking online platform, today announced that it has expanded its operations to the United States and the United Kingdom.
S P Balasubrahmanyam-mentored startup also plans to expand to Malaysia, Singapore, the UAE, Dubai, Canada and Switzerland over next six months, it said in a statement.
To meet its expansion plans, Jilmore raised Rs 1 crore from a clutch of investors, including UK-based NRIs.
“JilMore enables entrepreneurs in their local area with more opportunities with franchise business model, which is expected to bring the future growth”, the company said.
JilMore CEO and co-founder Saradhi Babu Rasala said, “It has been an incredible journey we had over last year to establish our services. We added 500 artists enrolled to our platform. We have learnt great amount of business from the 350 bookings we executed over last 10 months. Our franchising model should help us scale the business faster.”
Balasubrahmanyam said, “Jilmore’s local franchise model is a great opportunity for the business people who are looking to start new business in their area. Feeling happy that my baby (Jilmore) not only creating new opportunities for talented artists but also creating new entrepreneurs”.
