Hyderabad: Ahead of Ramadan, mercury touches 42 degree Celsius

Hyderabad: Ahead of Ramadan, the month of worship and prayers, the summer is at its peak in Hyderabad. For the past two days, the mercury has risen above 42 degree Celsius. Although the rainfall had decreased temperature during the last week, it shot up on Wednesday and Thursday.

It is reported that the temperature recorded in Musherabad was 42 degree Celsius which is the highest temperature during this season. The areas which recorded temperature around 40 degree Celsius last week are Nampally, Monda Market and Qutubullahpur.

In Nampally, the temperature was recorded at 39.4 degree Celsius whereas, in Monda Market, it was 39.5, in Trimulgherry, it was 39.7 and in Qutubullahpur, it was 39.9 degree Celsius.
