Hyderabad: In a road accident which took place near Uppal, an eight-year-old schoolgirl died on the spot.
According to the news published in Telangana Today, Bhoomika Reddy died when a lorry hit the scooter on which she was travelling. Her mother was driving the two-wheeler.
It is also reported that she was returning home from school with her mother when this incident took place in Chilkanagar near Uppal.
Bhoomika who sustained severe injuries in the accident died on the spot. Her mother also suffered injuries.
The body of Bhoomika was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, police registered a case and started investigations.
