Hyderabad: 60 lakh worth gold seized at RGI airport

HYDERABAD: On Wednesday, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials have seized gold worth Rs 60 lakh.

According to the report published in The Hans India, the DRI sleuths seized the gold which was hidden under a seat in Air India flight which is learned to have arrived in Shamshabad from Dubai on Wednesday morning.

The officials suspected that the passenger feared of getting caught at the airport and so he concealed the gold under the seat.

The gold was found under the seat number 27. The passenger is yet to be identified.
