Hyderabad: The Chaderghat Police have arrested 4 burglars and recovered Rs 18,000 cash and 22 tolas of gold ornaments worth Rs 7 lakh from their possession. The arrested were identified as Mohd Khader Moinuddin Ayub (26), Mohd Zameem Hussain (24), Mohd Maqdoom Sha Ali (22) and Vemula Sai Kumar (24).
The Police registered a case based on a complaint by a 60-year-old resident of Municipal Colony in Chaderghat in which she stated that her house was burgled late on Thursday night. The complainant said that while she and her family was away, her house’s front, back and main gate locks were broke open and gold ornaments were stolen from the almirah.
“The four accused are habitual property offenders and have committed many house burglaries in the city. They recce potential areas during odd hours and identify locked houses. They break open the gate’s, doors and almirah locks by using an iron rod and steal gold ornaments and cash,”

Officials seized Rs. 18,000 cash and 22 tolas gold ornaments worth Rs 7 lakhsfrom the possession of the accused and remanded them to judicial custody.
