Hyderabad: A 17-year-old girl who was brutally attacked in broad daylight is battling for life. The doctors at the Yashoda hospitals have said that they cannot say anything about her condition for the next 48 hours.
The doctors further said that the victim had sustained critical injuries on her head, neck, back and other parts of the body resulting in profuse bleeding. Informing that BP and pulse rate of the girl continues to be low, the doctors said that they cannot perform any surgery on the victim until her BP and pulse rate return to normal.
It may be mentioned on Wednesday morning, the accused, Bharath (19) had brutally attacked the girl, an intermediate student.
As per reports, the victim and the accused are the neighours.
After the attack, the girl was rushed to the hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, police arrested the accused who was reportedly angry after the girl rejected his proposal.
