Hyderabad, November 18: Hyderabad Golf Association on Thursday claimed that mosques and graves have not been desecrated during the developmental works carried out for Hyderabad Golf Course being developed at the foot of Golconda naya qila; instead the developmental work is being carried out far away from those places.
Talking to press conference here, along with other members including Captain Asadullah Pasha Advocate, Mohammad Ghouse Mohiuddin and Sundreshan, Association chairman Mr. Vikram Devrao, said 170 acre land has been handed over to the association to develop Golf course which contains two mosques Mustafa Khan and Mullah Khayali and a graveyard adjacent to them. There is also another graveyard besides this. The association has kept these mosques and graveyards excluded in its project to develop golf course. However it is alleged by some organizations that graves are being razed for development of Golf course which is far from reality.
Caption Asadullah Pasha and Mr. Mohammad Ghouse Mohiuddin said that they are also Muslims with firm beliefs and questioned how can they withstand desecration of mosques and graves for the development of golf course?
Mr. Mohammad Ghouse Mohiuddin even offered to bear the expenses of Imam Muezzin and other expenditures by himself, if anyone wants to rehabilitate the mosques permanently.
