The TRS Government will construct two projects of 20 tmc capacity each to cater to the drinking water needs of Hyderabad citizens.
This was stated by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Thursday at Assembly during budget session. One reservoir will be built at Rachakonda hillock area near Ramoji Film City, another will be coming up at Shamirpet, he informed the House. “Since I have promised during GHMC elections, the government has prepared plans to construct these two main reservoirs, KCR stated.
“We understand the drinking water problem and growing population and plans are prepared to see that people in the next 50 years will not suffer the problem”, he added. (NSS)
