Rama Malkote in a statement has said that Hyderabad Forum for Telangana strongly condemns illegal construction at Bhagya Lakshmi temple abetting Charminar. The forum expresses regrets over non performance and ineffective attitude of Archaeological Survey of India in strictly dealing against erecting temporary structure at Charminar.
She told that Hyderabad Forum for Telangana appeals union home ministry to take effective measures in view of ineffective performance of Archaeological Survey of India and state government in dealing with the situation.
The forum also appeals Chandresh Kumari Katoch Union Minister of Culture to direct officials of Archaeological Survey of India to take effective measures in this issue.
