The All India Seerat Zehra Committee has thanked Chief Minister K. Chandrasekharar Rao for considering its request for allotment of land for construction of Hussaini Bhavan at various places in the Telangana State.
SZC President Ali Raza said that he had made a representation to the Chief Minister for allotment of suitable land in various places in the state for construction of Hussaini Bhavans where facilities to the pilgrims of the Shia community could be provided under one roof. He said that the Chief Minister was very sympathetic to the representations and he marked the copy to the Minorities Welfare Department for necessary action.
Ali Raza said that he had also made similar representation to Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahamood Ali and told him that there were innumerable Shia Waqf properties in the State and every year thousands of the Shia pilgrims visit Aashoorkhanas and other holy places, particularly in the month of Moharrum. But no facility is available to them and they have to suffer a lot. He requested that at every place, where there are big Aashoorkhanas, Hussaini Bhavans should be constructed. He said that these buildings could be used for social purposes and this step would benefit to the community a lot. (INN)
