The practice of dowry among ignorant Muslims is a result of the influence of the evil practices of the society they live in.Same is the case of Shaik Shareef who sets pregnant wife Ishrath Begum ablaze for additional dowry. According to police mother-in -law Maliha Begum and sister -in-law Zarina Begum poured kerosene on Ishrath Begum who was pregnant for additional dowry.
Ishrath Begum died while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital.
