Husband suspects wife fidelity and killed her

On Saturday, a 31-year-old housewife was found murdered at her house in Kaverinagar.
The late lamented Jayamma was a native of Madanapalli in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh.

Jayamma was the second wife of Nagaraj, a labourer, who is absconding since the time of her murder. The couple were married recently and living at a rented house in Kaverinagar. on Friday afternoon,the neighbours last saw Jayamma when she was quarrelling with her husband over a trivial issue.

In the early hours Saturday morning, Nagaraj’s father Venkatramappa, who lives nearby, came to his son’s place, where he found Jayamma bludgeoned to death. The landlord of the house immediately lodged a complaint with the Mahadevapura police, who retrieved the body from the spot. Postmortem was conducted at Bowring Hospital.

According to Police sources,Jayamma had suffered no external injuries. They suspect she was hit on the back of her head with a blunt object, which may have led to her death. They added that Nagaraj was suspecting his wife’s allegiance and might have killed her.
