Faridabad, February 25: A local court today awarded 10 years of jail term to a man in a dowry death case.
Additional District and Sessions Court judge Deepak Gupta also imposed a penalty of Rs 12,000 on Sohanpal, the husband of Rekha, while acquitting two others of his family, a police spokesperson said.
Rekha committed suicide in October 2009 at a village near here after she was harassed by her in-laws for bringing a motorcycle.
