Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Central Kotwali Police reported that a 28-year-old woman was gang-raped by husband and his seven friends.
The woman had gone to Sehore District Court on 25th January for hearing of the proceedings of her divorce case. She went to Dewas on 26th January to meet her parents at Najhgiri in Ujjain. At the bus stand, she saw her husband, Pappu, boarding a jeep with his seven friends. He forcibly pulled her inside the jeep under the pretext of discussing something important with her.

The woman was then taken to an isolated place and was raped her husband and seven of his friend threatening her with a knife. Her husband thought that she is dead. He dumped her at roadside in a gunny bag near Rasulpur village.
Local resident informed the police when they saw some movement inside the bag and heard cries.
The police took the women to the nearby hospital. A criminal case was registered against her husband and his friends on the basis of the statement given by the woman.
