Moga, February 16: Five persons have been booked for allegedly killing a woman and later destroying evidence, police said here today.
The woman, Manjinder Kaur was allegedly killed by her husband Surinder Singh, her mother-in-law Harbans Kaur and her sister Paramjit Kaur along with two others.
An FIR was lodged following a complaint by Manjinder”s brother Ravinder Singh, who alleged his sister was killed and cremated by the accused to cover up their crime. According to the FIR, Surinder, married to Manjinder for last 12 years, had an illicit relationship with her younger sister Paramjit.
