Parbhani [Maharashtra]: Inspired by the Shaheen Bagh protest, hundreds of people belonging to all sections of the community joined the anti-CAA protest at Parbhani.
During the protest, people raise slogans against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).

The protesters are seen holding placard against the controversial law. Slogans such as “Ekta ka Raj Chalega, Hindu-Muslim saat Chalega” were also raised in the protest meeting.
It is witnessed that the number of protesters increases after Isha prayer daily.
The most interesting fact about the protest is that it is not being led by any political party rather ordinary residents of the city.
It may be mentioned that ever since CAB become an act, protests are taking place across the country.

Since 15th December, hundreds of women are protesting against the controversial laws in the bone-chilling cold at Shaheen Bagh.
People from nearby areas have also been visiting the protest site from time to time.
