Hyderabad, January 17 (Siasat News): Renowned satirical and humorous poet Talib Khundmiri passes away. He had gone to attend a Mushaira to Lonavla, a hill resort near Mumbai.
He was accompanied by another Hyderabad poet Agha Sarosh. The Mushaira was continued till 3 am and after that when he reached his hotel, he complained about the chest pain. Terming it as the gas problem, he didn’t consult any doctor.
He had a to catch a train for Hyderabad from Lonavla scheduled at 3.30 pm but before that, his condition deteriorated and he breathed his last before the provision of any medical help.
The renowned poet and architect, the late Khundmiri had designs of many mosques to his credit.
He is survived by wife, three sons and three daughters. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be performed at Masjid Moos Miya, Chanchalguda at 9.30 pm today.
