Men and women in large numbers queue up at Nilofer Hospital premises to receive ‘upma curry’ dished out by Parveen, Ranga Swami and Dasri Srinivas who serve breakfast free of cost among the attendants of children admitted at Nilofer Hospital.
One of the men disclosed that a philanthropist Sai Das Gupta is behind the humanitarian services who bear the expenses of breakfast served to 400 attendants daily. On questioning how come he thought of this plan, the men told that once Das Gupta, whom they fondly call Babaji, arrived at Hyderabad; he saw the miserable condition of the attendants at Nilofer hospital since then he decided to dole out breakfast among the needy attendants and assigned the work to these kind hearted persons. They do their job very well and people irrespective of religion and caste benefit from their humanitarian act.
Muslim organizatons should follow suit and take measures to bring people closer to them.
