Human brains are interconnected, that is how people have ‘gut feelings’

Sheffield, England: You may have wonder, how come people ‘read’ someone’s intentions and thought through expressions and non-verbal cues. However, there is something more to it.

Scientists have uncovered the secret behind ‘gut feeling’ and claimed that the human brain has a kind of ‘wi-fi’ which has the ability to gain information on other people by simply looking at them.

According to a report by Mail Online, Professor Digby Tatum of the University of Sheffield, who has been researching the human brain and how people communicate, believes his work shows that language only plays a limited role in communication.

Prof Tatum said people can pick up on subliminal or unconscious information on someone’s mind.

Prof Tatum said, “We can know directly about other people’s emotions and what they are paying attention to. It is based on the direct connection between our brains and other people’s and between their brain and ours. I call this the interbrain.”

He also warned that communicating through video calls can hinder this process and could cause harm.
