The animosity between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been talked for a while now; for the uninitiated – Salman recently made bold and negative remarks about Bhansali’s Guzaarish which turned their long time friendship more than a little sour. And the damage didn’t end there, for Sallu’s callousness apparently offended lead actor of the movie, Hrithik Roshan as much.
Hrithik’s response was immediate, he quickly texted Salman informing him that he was disappointed at his prod on the movie which now resides in a place close to his heart. However, the tables turned later when he found out that the comment was directed toward SLB and not him. Consequently, Hrithik quickly recovered by apologizing to Salman for his misunderstanding.
One can’t help but think if Hrithik’s apology wasn’t misplaced either way. Should a lead actor be alright with direct ridicule of his director, on a movie they have churned out together? Perhaps the precarious predicament of taking sides in this Salman-Bhansali tussle is what made Hrithik gracefully bow out, before he could come in the line of fire. For that sure is no happy spot to be!
