It not only helps them to interact directly with their fans, but also results in first hand rubbishing of nonsensical rumours concerning them.
While the above was stage 1, stage 2 has seen more top stars like Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and the latest entrant, Shah Rukh Khan, using a more precise and less time consuming way, Tweeting! In fact Priyanka Chopra has the highest number of followers (1.2 lakhs) on Twitter. King Khan has a staggering 53,000 followers within just week of his joining and is expected to overtake his DON co-star soon!
There is more good news, especially for the fans of super hero Hrithik Roshan who is going to emulate his current friend, Shah Rukh Khan and start tweeting, but just before KITES release. When queried about the same by a leading news channel, Hrithik was quite categorical in saying, “When my film is on release, I’ll join!”
