Hrithik & Sussanne talk marriage

Mumbai, June 13: Walking in hand-in-hand, Hrithik Roshan (sporting a small ponytail) and wife Sussanne came to talk about marriage while launching ‘Country Vivah’ — Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Roshan launch Country Vivah at an event with Y Rajeev Reddy India’s first one-stop shop for weddings.

The two happily shared details of their courtship. “We were seeing each other for six years and then decided to tie the knot,” went Hrithik first. “Ours was a cross-cultural wedding and I vividly remember how hectic it turned out to be for our folks to do all the running around for the various functions. Of course, Sussanne as the bride and I as the groom were really happy to graduate from friends to a married couple on our special day.” Glowing with the memory of that day ten years ago, Sussanne added, “Hrithik and I were, and remain, really good friends. And when one gets married to a friend, life is a party indeed.”

The couple emphasised that marriages are decided in heaven but can be made enjoyable on earth. Y Rajeev Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Country Club India Ltd (CCIL) that launched Country Vivah, agreed heartily. “Indian weddings have become grander and multi-faceted. Country Vivah aims to take away the planning and execution stresses that a typical Indian wedding entails. From sagaai to bidaai, you can now leave everything to us and enjoy the wedding as it’s meant to be,” he promised.
