Hrithik cheers for Olympic Refugee participant with heartfelt message

New Delhi: Superstar Hrithik Roshan is excited for the on-going Rio Olympics just like everyone else and referring to the biggest sports event, the actor posted an extremely thought provoking tweet last night.

He rather did something what no one does, that is support a Team which is representing no nation.

The ‘Mohenjo Daro’ actor, who has been consistent in supporting and cheering talent did it again, this time with Yusra Mardini, who competed for the 100 meter butterfly and freestyle heats, last night.

Olympics being all about National glory and national pride, this time has a Refugee Team consisting of participants who have no flag, no national anthem to play and no nation wide support. And Indian Superstar Hrithik Roshan was seen rooting for their participant Yusra Mardini.

Hrithik not only supported but also encouraged people to unite and Cheer for Yusra, who has no Nation to cheer for her.

The Superstar’s tweet was extremely deep, heartwarming and highlighted the thought of lending selfless support to a nation called humanity.

Hrithik tweeted, “Its incredibly cool 2 hv included displaced sportsmen in Olympics dis time as refugee Olympic tm. Dey dont hv a nation.lets all cheer 4 them.”

He further added, “Tonight I cheer for Yusra Mardini, a real life hero who saved lives through her swimming and is part of refugee Olympic athletes team.”

Kudos to the superstar for sparing a thought which highlights such a humanitarian issue and supporting a team having no national support. (ANI)
