Human Resource Development Ministry of India has focused its attention towards irregularities prevailed in Maulana Azad National Urdu University during the past years. According to reliable sources the ministry has decided to seek details of appointments made during the term of ex-Vice Chancellor Mohammed Miyan. A committee would be formed in this connection which will seek all details from the university. Taking notes of the complaints submitted to the ministry with proofs, the central government has decided to make enquiry into the appointment. HRD ministry is seeking information regarding for how many appointments a single screening committee was used. Central government has also decided to investigate into embezzlement of lakhs of rupees in the name of TA/DA.
