HR Opportunity in Banking – Qatar
Ahlibank Qatar is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead a small team focussing on Recruitment & Training.
They will be responsible for implementing and driving HR initiatives to support business strategies.
The incumbent will provide pro-active support to senior management in the areas of employee relations, organizational effectiveness, performance management, training and development, employee’s benefits and compensation.
In addition, they will Liaise between the departments and HR specialists (HR Operations & Compensation) to develop and implement HR programs.
Job reports to Head of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provides strategic partnership and operational HR consultation to assigned departments. Develop and implement HR operational plans for the departments in line with Bank’s HR strategic plan. (Training, Recruitment & Qatarisation)
· Provides the respective management guidance and interpretation of HR Policies and Procedures and assistance regarding general HR topics, processes and compliance issues.
· Work closely with the line management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
· Help drive implementation of effective HR initiatives such as recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits implementation, organizational development, manpower planning, and change in close collaboration with respective corporate departments.
· Undertake any other duties of similar nature directed by management that are related to the department and are within the expertise and skills of the jobholder.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, preferably Masters Degree in HRM or MBA
• CIPD qualification would be a plus.
Work Experience:
05 – 07 years HR Manager experience in Banking/Financial institutes.
Experience of working in multiple human resource disciplines such as workforce planning, recruitment, compensation, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, and training.
HR systems.
Adequate experience of working in HR Operations/Administrations and Payroll.
Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of local Human Resources processes, procedures and Labour Law.
• Ability to develop trusting working relationships to gain support and achieve results.
• Skills of identifying and anticipating client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR practices in the banking industry in Qatar.
• Strong role and organization design experience, including organizational structuring, role evaluation and development of job description.
• Ability to communicate and work with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Bilingual skills in English and Arabic a must.
