How to prevent malicious cyber attacks

Beware of emails related to Job Offers, Prize Money winning offers. Don’t respond to mails which ask to furnish your bank account details. Always keep only one session activated at a time while doing online transactions. These tips were given by Cyber Expert & amp. Secretary, Computer Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter, Mr. Rambabu K. while addressing one day workshop on “Information Security Education Awareness (ISEA)” organized by Dept. of Computer Science & amp; Information Technology, MANUU at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, in collaboration with CDAC, Hyderabad and Computer Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter.

In the presentation, Mr. Rambabu delivered some tips and tricks to prevent malicious attacks on the Internet. He said try to permanently delete all the passwords after performing online shopping activities with your debit cards etc. Always check the authenticity of incoming mails through proper online tools like email filtering etc. To prevent attack, check the URL of websites properly. Through this workshop, he gave ideas to students for implementing secured information systems.
