Meryl Streep, who recently got her 18th Oscar nomination for ‘August: Osage County’, has confessed that she was really shocked when her pal Emma Thompson didn’t get nominated for ‘Saving Mr. Banks’.
During an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show ‘, the veteran actress said that she wrote a long heartfelt email to Thompson saying how bad she felt about the snub, ABC News reported.
Streep added that Thompson wrote her back and simply said, ‘Good’. (ANI)
