Kadiyam Sri Hari, senior leader who left the TDP, has expressed anguish at
the TDP ranks calling him a political prostitute.
Talking to the media here on Sunday, he said it was atrocious on the part of party leaders to
use such language against a person who served the party for decades, religiously. He said this
showed that the party was suffering from bankruptcy of thought. He also condemned the
allegation of Yerrabelli Dayakara Rao that he was not a Dalit.
Kadiyam questioned why the party had not made a mention of the Telangana issue in the draft of the forthcoming Mahanadu. He challenged the TDP leaders to make the party pass a resolution on
the Telangana issue in the Mahanadu. He advised TDP senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu to
learn culture and civilization. He also said that it was ridiculous that leaders like Devender
Goud and Revuri Prakash reddy were making allegations against him. He questioned if Revuri
knew the meaning of political prostitution.
It may be mentioned here that Yerabelli has given an explanation on Kadiyam’s charge that the
TDP had backed out when no-confidence motion was moved in the Assembly, Yerrabelli said the
party decided to maintain neutrality as the no confidence motion was aimed at benefiting the
YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. He said their idea was to get Jagan out of jail
through blackmail and TDP did not want to subscribe to that plan. He also said TDP would not
be at loss because of the resignation of Kadiyam. He said Kadiyam had enjoyed high offices
through TDP and advised him not to criticize the party or the president Chandra Babu Naidu
though he might choose to leave the party. he said though bigger leaders left the party, the
party had not incurred any damage and asserted that Kadiyam’s exit would make no difference.
He also condemned the remarks of Kadiyam that TDP was giving positions only to the
industrialists and the rich. (NSS)
