A 21-year-old woman died of burn injuries that she suffered after she was set ablaze allegedly by her husband.
According to Mailardevpally Inspector B Ramesh, the deceased, G Aruna, was allegedly set on fire by her husband Narsimha, A driver at their residence in Mailardevpally, on November 28. She was married to one Narsimha about three years back. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where she died on Wednesday Morning. Aruna was allegedly being harassed by her husband Narsimha for additional dowry. On November 28, Narsimha came to drunken condition to his house and argument with his wife for additional dowry he had set Suguna ablaze.
A case of murder has been registered against Narsimha, police said. (INN)
