Hyderabad, April 17: A housewife, who was alone in her house, was killed by unknown persons at Dwaraka Nagar, Qutbullapur today. The miscreants fled the location after taking away nearly 10 tolas of gold kept in the house.
Cyberabad police said that around 8.30 p.m., the victim, Rukmini, died after being stabbed by the accused. All the remaining family members, including her husband Damodar, went to visit their house which was under construction in the vicinity of that they were living in. When Rukmini was alone in the house, there was power cut for sometime. “At that time, about three persons barged into the house and attacked Rukmini. After killing her, they took away jewellery on Rukmini’s body besides some other ornaments kept in the almirah,” police said.
