In an accident in Begum Bazaar, a house and three shops were set ablaze which created panic in Begum Bazaar area yesterday. It is reported that Prince scale (Photo frame shop) Sri Sai Agencies (godown) and a house situated on the first floor were set ablaze police control room was informed about the incident. Four fire tenders reached the spot immediately and started to control fire. Resident of the first floor of the building were shifted to safe places. Dr. Joshi, DCP of Central Zone immediately reached the spot. Since fire spread on a large scale it damaged three shops in a short span of time. Local residents became panicky. After three hours struggle fire was controlled.
Police sources indicated that the causes of fire couldn’t be detected. Police registered a case and started investigations.
