House of Hiranandani mulling entry into NCR, Pune

CHENNAI: As part of its expansion plans, real estate player House of Hiranandani is mulling entry into the National Capital Region and Pune market, a top official said here on Friday.

The company has undertaken various projects in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.

“We are cautious in the Hyderabad market. Because it is yet to grow. Right now, we are looking to establish in NCR and Pune region. But nothing has materialised. If there is good opportunity we will go”, House of Hiranandani Chairman and Managing Director Surendra Hiranandani told reporters.

Hiranandani and senior company officials were here to unveil the company’s flagship project “Anchorage” on a 120 acre land at Egattur, Old Mahabalipuram Road, Chennai.

“This will be our flagship project. It will be a 45 storeyed building. It will be tallest housing project in Chennai. The 245 units will comprise of two, four and five bed room apartments,” he said.

The housing units would start at Rs 79 lakh for a two bed room house and project was expected to be handed over 48-60 months, he said.

Apart from the Chennai project, he said the company has undertaken a residential project in Bengaluru on a 60 lakh square foot land and in Mumbai, another project in MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region).
