A house was completely gutted by fire resulting from short circuit at Janki Nagar Colony Tolichowki. All the items of the house were reduced to ashes; the fridge burnt and got shrunk, the LED set got melted, the sofa set reduced to ashes and the complete house wiring got burnt. The fire resulting from the short circuit gutted the whole house. The walls remained as hot as the furnace for hours but the 6 to 7 copies of the Holy Quran kept in the shelf in a corner of the house remained untouched by the fire; even though the fire melted the electric wire close to the copies of the Quran.
As per the details Abdul Qadeer R/O of Janki Nagar Tolichowki and his family had gone to a party on Thursday. When they returned home, late at night they found that the fire flames are emerging out of their house. Thick smoke had engulfed their house. Young Abdul Qadeer who works in a cloth store suffered the loss of 1 to 1.5 lakh in the accident. Initially he was grieved by the loss but when he found that the copies of the Holy Quran are safe, his happiness knew no bounds. A strange contentment crept over him.
