Flames erupted suddenly in a hotel kitchen at Regimental Bazaar in Secunderabad on Thursday morning. However, a big mishap was averted due to the alert employees of the hotel.
According to the residents of the area, suddenly flames erupted in the kitchen of Bawarchi hotel located near the Hyderabad Passport Office in Secunderabad when the cook lighted the stove. However the kitchenware was gutted in the fire.
On receipt of the information, the Market police and Fire Services squad rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. Officials of the Secunderabad division of GHMC headed by Additional Commissioner Vijayarama Raju, inspected the hotel and sealed it after detecting that the hotel was being run without municipal license.
