Hotel owner, manager booked for not submitting details of foreign residents

New Delhi: The owner and manager of a hotel in Jaipur have been booked for failing to submit the details of five foreigners who stayed in the hotel and were involved in a robbery incident, police said on Monday.

Hotel owner Nisar Ahemad and Manager Om Prakash were on Sunday booked for failing to submit the details of five Romanian nationals, staying in the hotel, to Foreigners Registration Office, they said.

“Five foreign nationals from Romania checked in the hotel in Amber on July 14. The hotel management did not submit the details of the residing foreigners to the FRO. The matter recently came to light following which the case was registered,” SHO of Amber police station Narendra Kumar said.

“The five Romanian nationals were involved in a theft case,” he said, adding, that the case was registered by the CID.

Rohit Srivastava, an official of the FRO confirmed that the hotel did not intimate about the stay of the foreigners through C form.
